Schools, colleges and businesses throughout the country are encouraged to wear it pink in support of Campaign and donate £2 each to fund innovative world-class breast cancer research. 875 t-shirt shaped clouds were released to represent the number of women diagnosed with breast cancer each week – that’s 125 a day. The clouds are made out of soap-based foam, mixed with an environmentally friendly, pink, food colouring and travel across a 30 mile radius. wear it pink is supported by Vanish, which has committed to raising an incredible £250,000 for the charity this year. Last year over one million people took part in wear it pink raising a staggering £3 million for breast cancer research to help improve survival rates. Rebecca Guy, Breast Cancer Campaign’s wear it pink Events Manager said: “By releasing the pink t-shirt shaped clouds we hope to encourage women and men to be breast aware and to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign to continue funding vital breast cancer research.
