The pair will join thousands of runners at the starting line on Sunday 17 October in memory of Philippa’s mother’s best friend who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2003. Philippa’s great aunt and great grandmother also died from the disease. Philippa said: My mum’s friend sadly died despite being in remission for more than eight years after her diagnosis and her death affected us all greatly.
