The registrar will join thousands of runners for the 10 mile race in Southsea, Portsmouth on Sunday 24 October in memory of her mother, Jeanne Shearer, who sadly passed away from breast cancer 10 years ago. Amy said: “I have participated in races to raise money for and awareness of breast cancer research almost every year since my mother passed away from the disease. This year, I am delighted to be running in The Bupa Great South Run both to honour my mother’s memory and to support those currently suffering with this illness.
