Returning to Reading for the second year running this October, Paint the Town Pink aims to turn the town as pink as possible to help raise funds for breast cancer research and promote breast awareness. London Irish is kicking off the month with a special Ladies Day on Saturday 2 October at the match against Leeds Carnegie, Madejski Stadium (Kick off, 3pm). The Ladies Lounge will be open from midday with treats and giveaways for ladies only including beauty treatments, massages, chocolates, cupcakes, smoothies and bubbles! Around the ground there will be more fundraising activities plus players and officials will be wearing pink. The pink activities will continue in Reading throughout the month and you can show your support by donating to Team Pink collectors across the city, buying a Paint the Town Pink ribbon from local shops and businesses or even texting PINK to 70007 to make a £2 donation today. The month will come to a close as everyone is encouraged to take part in Campaign’s national wear it pink day on Friday 29 October. Simply wear an item of pink and donate £2. It’s so easy everyone can get involved!
