The event will take place from 1-3pm and supporters will be asked to donate £10 to take part. If you would like to join in the fitness fun, please contact the event organiser Esther Shortt directly on 07958 768083. Or email thinkinglady@hotmail.co.uk Fitness instructor Esther said: “I teach lots of women in my fitness classes and have seen many ladies fighting this disease. Sadly we lost two of our members to breast cancer this year so I hope lots of women from across north London will take part in our Pink Aerobics event and help raise funds for breast cancer research while keeping fit at the same time.” She added: “Zumba has taken the country by storm and 100 men and women are ditching the work out and joining the party. Zumba is a Latin dance inspired work out which burns up to 1,000 calories an hour – it’s so much funt hat it doesn’t actually feel like a workout at all!” Breast Cancer Campaign’s aim is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
