Participants will enjoy a fun Pink Aerobics session on Saturday 9 October at the YMCA North Tyneside on Church Way, North Shields, raising money for breast cancer research with each side step by donating a fee to take part. The aerobathon will take place from 10am to 4pm and supporters will be asked to donate £7.50 to take part. Classes include: Zumba, Combat, Step, Hula Hooping etc. If you would like to sign up, please contact the event organiser Donna Taylor directly on 0191 257 5434 or 07981 187831. Fitness coordinator Donna said: “This is the fourth Pink Aerobics event we have organised and each year it gets better and better. Sadly, my friend’s daughter Natasha passed away from breast cancer earlier this year so we are holding the aerobathon in her memory and to support all the other 46,000 people who are diagnosed with this disease in the UK each year. I hope lots of women from across North Shields will take part in Pink Aerobics and help raise funds for breast cancer research while keeping fit at the same time.” Breast Cancer Campaign’s aim is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
