Brewers Home host Macmillan Coffee Morning
On Friday 30th September, between 10 am and 12 pm, Brewers Home is joining in with the world's biggest coffee morning, raising funds for Macmillan cancer support in their flagship store on Birch Road in Eastbourne
Brewers Home have signed up to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning! On Friday 30th September, the Brewers Home store coffee shop on Birch Road in Eastbourne will become host to a Macmillan coffee morning, raising money joining the fight to beat cancer. Last year, Brewers Home raised over £800 – a contribution to the £25 million raised overall – and, with customers’ help, this year they are aiming to raise much much more!
There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people, and Macmillan wants to be there for them all. One in three of us will get cancer, and as one of the toughest things anyone will ever have to face, Macmillan’s goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone, providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care.
Brewers Home want to be part of that goal, so are hosting its own Macmillan Coffee Morning between 10 am and 12 pm on Friday 30th September at its flagship branch on Birch Road in Eastbourne. Coffee will be offered to all visitors to the branch, in return for an optional donation, which will go straight to Macmillan. The Brewers Home Coffee Shop Manager, Garita commented on the event: “We are delighted to be hosting the Macmillan coffee morning in our coffee shop. We raised an amazing amount of money last year and hope to beat that this year!”
Returning, old and new customers, or just passers by, are all encouraged to come along for a coffee and contribute to this wonderful cause.
