It’s finally here – the start of summer! Someone tell the weather! Brewers Home have been inspired by the Summer Solstice, occurring on 20th June this year, providing a range of wallpaper, furniture and home accessories in bright summer colours to suit the occasion
Solstice (literally meaning ‘sun stopping’) marks the longest day of the year for the northern hemisphere and, without getting into too much technical jargon, basically - summer has begun! Just one week to go: as of 20th June, you can officially get the barbeque out, slap on the factor 30, head to the beach and whip the ice cream out of the freezer! And, most importantly, it’s time to create a perfect midsummer space in your own home… We can only hope the weather catches up, but if it doesn't, you can always create a summer-feeling indoors.

As an ideal addition to any sofa or chair, the Clarke & Clarke Lagoon Sunset Cushion (£50) - aptly named - gives a subtle sense of summer and a touch of drama to the living room. Alternatively, the Mini Moderns Darjeeling Cushion in Tangerine Dream (£45) goes perfectly with the Lauren chair shown here in the Pimpernel colourway (£829).
