Bricknode meets increasing demand for cloud services by onboarding new software developers
The financial services industry is seeing a shift towards cloud services, with strong demand from small to mid-size firms looking to keep pace with newer cloud-centric rivals. To support this transformation, Bricknode onboards five new resources to its software development team.
The industry shift to the cloud will help financial companies innovate faster and meet changing market requirements. To support the move, Bricknode has welcomed five new faces to its software development team, led by Joakim Platbarzdis, who joins as Head of Engineering and Product.

Platbarzdis will be responsible for Bricknode’s product development strategy and its 19-strong product and engineering team. He brings a wealth of experience working with cloud services having spent more than 11 years in senior product and engineering positions at Episerver, in addition to other roles.

Joining Platbarzdis’s team are Patrick Nel, Lead Designer, and senior software engineers Ben McKernan, Henrik Lindström and Mikael Bergemalm. The new team members bring a diverse set of strengths and experience in SaaS and fintech from companies including Klarna, Gears of Leo, Optimizely and Episerver.
