Release Date: 14th January 2010 Good Garage Scheme lands major deal with the RAC Motorists are set to benefit from lower cost vehicle breakdown cover following an agreement made between the UK-wide Good Garage Scheme with its 3000 independent garage members and the RAC organisation. In an exclusive deal to the Good Garage Scheme, the RAC is offering major discounts on breakdown cover over one, two or three years, for drivers who go onto the Good Garage Scheme website www.goodgaragescheme.com home page. All that visitors need to do is simply click on to the RAC link to find out more about the special offer which covers a substantial 40 per cent saving on any combination of roadside assistance, vehicle recovery and home call. They will also have the option of continuing with the 40 per cent discount into the second year and, if they choose, a 20 per cent discount for year three. The exclusive offer includes a discounted price of £60.90 for roadside breakdown and recovery with a saving of £41.20, and another discounted price of £85.50 for roadside recovery and at home, offering a fantastic saving of £57.80. The RAC assists almost 2.6 million breakdowns a year and last winter found that its members were 50% more likely to break down at home. It has more patrols per member than any other breakdown service and aims to reach customers in 40 minutes.
