Kirton Healthcare integrates AJ Way with next generation SYSPRO ERP
NEWS Release date: 30 November 2010 Kirton Healthcare integrates AJ Way with next generation SYSPRO ERP Furniture manufacturer Kirton Healthcare is installing a new manufacturing, accounting and distribution system from Manchester-based K3 Business Technology Group (K3) to help with fully integrating its specialist seating, firm A J Way’s business with the rest of the group. Kirton acquired A J Way of High Wycombe in July 2010. The SYSPRO ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software will give the firm’s management team crucial visibility of important business information that currently resides with a number of standalone systems. Kirton Healthcare is a committed SYSPRO ERP user, having first installed the software over 10 years ago at its Haverhill site in Suffolk. The company recently upgraded to the new and powerful SYSPRO 6.1 which uses intelligent software to squeeze out un-necessary costs to better manage cash flow. According to Kirton Healthcare extending the use of SYSPRO to A J Way was an easy decision to make. “Selecting SYSPRO to help align A J Way with the rest of the Kirton Healthcare group was an obvious choice for us. We are very happy with the system and the support we get from K3. We know what we will be getting with SYSPRO. It is a powerful, easy to use, fully integrated system that will give us full visibility of critical information across the A J Way business,” says Beverly Wharton, Managing Director, A J Way. “K3’s ‘can do’ approach means software installation and the integration of the business will be rapid. We will be able to get the A J Way business on to a more advanced business software platform and away from the existing information silos. The software will enable us to move the business forward, improve process flow and drive change,” adds Beverly Wharton. The major new release of SYSPRO 6.1 offers companies like Kirton Healthcare substantial capabilities that are focussed on delivering new Business Process Management features that are unique to K3’s advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for mid-market manufacturers and distributors. SYSPRO 6.1’s innovative SEAM3 (SYSPRO Enterprise Analysis Modelling, Monitoring and Management) features takes operational efficiencies to new levels by recognising each customer’s unique business process requirements and automatically aligning and remodelling them during the ERP implementation phase. SYSPRO does this by providing clarity of information and a bird’s eye view of their manufacturing or distribution capabilities and how they meet their clients’ needs. This information is readily accessible via SYSPRO’s user-friendly graphical screens and concise reporting features. In addition, this allows K3 customers to continually remodel their business process as market conditions change.
