Grammy Nominated Act Snow Patrol Invest in Another NYC Hot Spot in West Chelsea’s The Chelsea Pub Slated to Open January 7, 2013

New York, NY-Dave Renehan, Kevin McKenna and Nicholas Cohen, the owners of Stitch Bar and Lounge, The Houndstooth Pub and Westside Tavern are delighted to announce the opening of a their new pub in New York’s Chelsea Neighborhood in January 2013. 

This 2,000 sq ft space, formerly home to “Negril”, is destined to become a landmark venue for West Chelsea.  The West Chelsea neighborhood is already known for boasting some of the most unique and diverse cuisines in the City.  The Chelsea Pub promises to appeal to every diner and pub goer with an open air Kitchen, friendly service and late night dining.  The space will feature communal tables, a rustic American Pub cuisine with many gluten free options, authentic British meat pies, Steak frites and an all day Irish Breakfast.   The bar will serve a vast beer & wine selection. 

The owners come with a pedigree of creating great locations.  Stitch Bar and Lounge has been voted Best After Work Bar in New York City by Citysearch.com.  Houndstooth Pub was voted Best Happy Hour in the Fashion Center and Westside Tavern has been a fixture in Chelsea since 1998.

The Chelsea Pub is an American styled Pub featuring fresh, healthy, rustic comfort food. This latest addition to the recent renewal efforts in the Chelsea neighborhood may even attract a celebrity or two as investors include the world renowned, Grammy nominated act Snow Patrol.
