Additional information about the procurement framework agreement awarded to Camanio

Brighter announced earlier in October that its subsidiary Camanio, which works with digital solutions for home care, has won a nationwide framework agreement for care alarms with The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR). The agreement is valid for four years.

Camanio has been awarded two out of five tender areas in the procurement framework agreement. This means that Camanio is one of five possible suppliers within each of the two areas, and that the company has the opportunity to submit tender proposals for each area. Companies not included in the framework agreement do not have the opportunity to submit proposals.

  • Tender area 1: Stationary security alarms and alarm monitoring/response (the entire alarm chain)
  • Tender area 4: Mobile security alarms and alarm monitoring/response (the entire alarm chain)

There is no ranking of the suppliers within the framework agreement. Each tender is evaluated between the five potential suppliers. SKL Kommentus Inköpscentral (SKI) do not guarantee any order volumes in the framework agreement, the actual volume of the orders will depend on the extent to which the authorities choose to use the framework agreement. For SKI's previous framework agreement on care alarms, the volume has been as follows:

  • Security alarms and alarm response 2012: from the start of the framework agreement in February 2013 up to and including December 2019, sales of SEK 370,000,000
  • Security alarms and alarm response 2015: from the start of the framework agreement in October 2016 up to and including December 2019, sales of SEK 194,000,000

SKI estimates that the use of the framework agreement will increase or be unchanged in comparison with SKI's previous framework agreement for care alarms.

“This is a great step forward for Camanio and a sign that the company meets the high demands on quality required to become a supplier to SKR. We are proud to have achieved this and look forward to further success for both Camanio and the Brighter Group as a whole,” says Brighter Group CEO, Henrik Norström.
