Brighter and Swedish health center Särö initiates collaboration regarding the diabetes management solution Actiste
Brighter and Health Center Särö in the Swedish region Halland have initiated a user experience collaboration regarding the Actiste Diabetes Management Service. The health center will provide insulin-treated diabetes patients (type 2) with access to the Actiste service, enabling the collection of valuable feedback and information that can potentially strengthen Brighter’s position in future procurement processes in Sweden. The project will run through 2021.
“We are very enthusiastic to start this collaboration with Särö health center, which will be first healthcare facility in Sweden to offer sustainable diabetes care built for the future. Together, we can make a mark in Swedish healthcare and contribute to increased quality of life in people's everyday lives,” says Henrik Norström, CEO of Brighter.
The collaboration’s aim is to provide Vårdcentralen Särö's insulin-treated diabetes patients an easier treatment routine, supporting increased motivation to follow treatment recommendations, improved compliance with insulin injections, and increased knowledge of their disease, which could result in improved health and treatment outcomes, and increase their quality of life.
The patients' experiences will be analyzed and evaluated during H1 2021, and the evaluation and summary is projected to be presented at the end of the year. The focus of these evaluations will be on comparing the patients' experience of more data-driven and supportive diabetes care through the Actiste service with their experience of other options available on the market.
The collaboration does not generate revenue, but strengthens the company's position in the Swedish market and provides valuable insights that can support further commercialization.
