Brighter AB (publ) (“the Company”) has, as part of the ongoing efforts to introduce Actiste® and Actiste® Mini in Nigeria and Ghana through the distributor agreements announced on December 30 2020, in collaboration with the distributors engaged a local agent. This agent will manage the market approval process and other related permits going forward. It is estimated that formal submission of complete applications with the relevant authorities will be made at the beginning of March 2021, and the processes are estimated to take approximately 6 (Ghana) and 9 (Nigeria) months, respectively.

The stated time frames are estimates and similar processes that Brighter has conducted in other jurisdictions have proceeded both faster and slower than originally expected. Updates on how the process is progressing will be presented on an ongoing basis. Moreover, the practical work related to planning and market preparations has been initiated with the distributors.

“The collaboration with the distributors has started off well and we are glad to see their commitment to introduce the Actiste portfolio to their respective countries. Now, together with the new local agent, we can confidently take further steps forward in the regulatory matters,” says Christer Trägårdh, acting CEO of Brighter.
