Brighter participates in Telia’s Digital Healthcare event in Almedalen.
Truls Sjöstedt, Brighter's CEO, is invited as speaker on Telia's event "Connected people do not need to be patients" in Almedalen, on July 4th 11:00-12:00 CEST. The event is held at Wisby Strand Congress & Event, Donnersgatan 2, Visby.
Complications from chronic diseases lead to impaired quality of life and a great deal of suffering for the patients. The yearly cost for society is huge. Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare estimates that in diabetes care, which costs Sweden around SEK 9 billion yearly, complications represents 92 percent of the total cost. With modern technology, diseases can be monitored far from health centers and hospitals. Welcome to a conversation about how Swedish healthcare can take full advantage of these new opportunities.
Other participants in the event
Niklas Sundler, Director Healthcare, Telia
Ulf Hertin, Healthcare Lead, SAS Institute
Marie Ekelund, Responsible Education & Lifestyle, Riksförbundet HjärtLung
Anna Starrin, moderator.
