Brighter receives breakthrough order regarding jDome BikeAround in Denmark.
Brighter has, via its retail partner in Denmark, Gloria Mundi Care, sold 3 jDome® BikeAround™ units in a single transaction with the Danish municipality Viborg.
– Those are not the first units sold in Denmark, but it is the biggest deal there so far. Viborg is known to be in the forefront when it comes to welfare technology and dementia care. Through this transaction, they strengthen their position further, and for us it is of course a very positive confirmation that a front runner like Viborg chooses jDome BikeAround, says Truls Sjöstedt, Brighter's CEO and founder.
Most jDome BikeAround systems are currently sold in the Swedish market. During the first half of 2016, the company announced that the sales operation was expanded to the Norwegian market through the partner Medema Norway AS.

About jDome® BikeAround™
jDome Bike Around is a relationship-building tool that activates the brain and heart of the elderly. The idea originated in the computer games industry and the solution consists of a wraparound screen, a dome, which is linked to an exercise bike and Google’s mapping service Google Street View. The feet on the pedals and hands on the handlebars, combined with the ability to steer freely in the real environment that is projected on the screen, creates a unique feeling of being there for real. The objective is increased patient benefit, presence of mind and better quality of life and care, with jDome BikeAround playing the part of a meeting place that the patient tries to find to encourage stimulation, activation and communication, which all goes to make daily life a little less tedious and more fun.
