Brighter recruits CFO for upcoming growth phase and investor relations.
Ann Zetterberg will act as new CFO in Brighter and will also be part of the company's management team. Zetterberg has over 20 years of experience as CFO from numerous different operations.
– I’m excited to join Brighter in conjunction with the company’s upcoming growth phase, which initially takes place within the diabetes segment. Diabetes is one of the world’s fastest growing diseases, and with Brighter’s Actiste and The Benefit Loop patients will – for the first time ever – have access to a service which help them change behaviour and better manage their disease. Furthermore, it facilitates great value within the healthcare system in terms of efficiency, says Ann Zetterberg.
Ann Zetterberg holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Stockholm (1995) and is a member of the board of the listed mining company Endomines AB, where she is also chairman of the Audit Committee. Ann has held multiple positions as CFO in her career. Most recently in the Swedish Hunters Association, and before that she was CFO and partner at the private equity company Accent Equity Partners AB.
– We are very pleased to recruit another sharp and kind employee to Brighter. Ann has ten years of experience from the venture capital industry, including being a partner at Accent Equity. She also has experience from working on “the other side”, with rapidly growing and knowledgeable companies. For example, she was CFO at the Swedish-based technology company Virtutech, which was successfully sold to Intel, says Brighter's CEO and founder Truls Sjöstedt.
