Brighter AB [publ], today announced that its subsidiary Nectarine Health is in discussions with potential partners in the United States that focus on digital care services for the elderly. These potential partners operate primarily in the areas of vitals monitoring, home care, home health care and personal emergency response (PERS). Nectarine Health plans to make its innovative AI-based home care solution available for partners for product trials between June and September.

"We are encouraged by our initial commercial discussions with a number of US based partners. Demand for care in the home has significantly increased in recent years and the current Covid-19 pandemic has further accelerated this trend," says Matthias Tietze, CEO of Nectarine Health. "Providers in the elderly care space, particularly in home care and home health care, are struggling to meet this demand and are actively seeking digital solutions. We believe that Nectarine Health™ at Home can meet this need."

The company is looking to move to more formal contractual relationships with potential partners over the coming months.
