Brighter AB (publ) announced today that the company’s subsidiary Nectarine Health received approval from Apple and Google for its consumer app, an integral part of the company’s remote home care solution. Nectarine Health™ at Home utilizes the app to give wristband wearers and their carers access to wellbeing insights and manage alerts such as hard falls. The app is now available to download in the U.S. via the AppStore and PlayStore.

“This approval marks another significant milestone for Nectarine Health as we start to commercialize our product. We currently remain on track with our main deliverables for the year and look forward to helping seniors live independently in the comfort of their own homes", says Matthias Tietze, CEO of Nectarine Health.

Nectarine Health™ at Home is a remote care system that delivers certain automatic alerts and supports proactive care by showing changes in long-term patterns of behavior which might otherwise go unnoticed. Through the app, wearers of the wristband and their carers can access alerts and insights. Nectarine Health™ at Home also aims to help different types of carers such as family, friends, neighbors and close community members get involved with the wellbeing of a senior or group of seniors.

The Nectarine Health app guides users through the installation and set-up process of the wristband and the hardware devices in the home. Once the system is set up, users can view the status of their connected devices as well as allocate carers who will receive alerts from the system.

The app will work together with the Nectarine Health™ at Home remote care system. At present, Nectarine Health™ at Home is only available to select users for testing. Once the testing phase has been completed, Nectarine Health™ at Home will be available for sale in the US.
