Brighter starts cooperation with SP to promote product development.
The research institute SP and Brighter have signed a cooperation agreement for Translucent Innovation, SP's platform for Open Innovation. Through the cooperation, Brighter gains access to a world-class innovation partner, which results in that the development of new and existing products, if necessary, can be rationalized in a cost effective manner.
SP's platform Translucent Innovation is based on a large network of successful entrepreneurs, innovators, engineers and developers that, when required, get involved in current or future development.
- It may i.e. be a matter of a specific technical problem in product development beyond Brighter core competencies. Then the matter goes to us at SP, whereby we gather a team of experts to develop potential solutions through our wide network, explains Erik Ronne, responsible for Translucent Innovation at SP.
The agreement does not apply to any specific product or development but it is rather, if required, a tool that is readily accessible for Brighter for potential future product development.
- The development of Actiste, as we have mentioned earlier, has been successful and far beyond expectations. Veryday and Helbling are doing a fantastic job and we see no obstacles in the ongoing development work. Cooperation with SP does not apply to any specific product but rather a future-oriented opportunity for the company. Would we ever need a unique skill for a specific project, it feels good to have a recognized skilled innovation partner that SP is close at hand, says Truls Sjöstedt, Brighter's CEO and founder.
