Brighter's subsidiary Camanio, specialized in digital solutions and services for home care, had a record day for its sales yesterday. The total sales figures for November 3 alone was approximately 1 million SEK, from sales of Camanio's digital therapy animals and BikeAround in Sweden and Canada. Customers include the City of Gothenburg, Uppsala Municipality, Karlskoga Municipality and Canadian The Elliott Community. Camanio’s total sales in Q4 2019 was 3 million SEK.

“The fourth quarter has always been important for Camanio, but I’m glad to see this great interest in welfare technology in the current circumstances with the pandemic. This year, many municipalities are ready to invest in digital solutions, so we see a continued high demand for our products and services,” says Catharina Borgenstierna, CEO of Camanio.

Camanio's BikeAround jDome and digital therapy animals are currently its most popular products. There has also been an increase in demand due to the current pandemic which has increased interest in digitalising elderly care, in Sweden and around the world.

“In these challenging times for many elderly people, during which they are limited in their social activities, our products fill an extra important function. For us, this is another proof that we deliver products and services that really create added value for our elderly community,” says Catharina Borgenstierna.

In October, Brighter announced that Camanio won a nationwide, four-year framework agreement for care alarms with The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR).
