Web-based User Interface Enables Access to BrightSign Network from Macs or PCs, from anywhere in the World

Cambridge, UK, 23 July 2012. BrightSign, LLC®, the market leader in digital signage players, today announced that BrightSign Network now offers unique web-based interface capabilities, further simplifying the process of remote content management. BrightSign Network Web UI is the latest addition to the company’s affordable and scalable subscription-based hosted service. BrightSign Network provides the complete infrastructure to serve and support an entire digital signage network, and the ability to now remotely manage content via a Web UI offers users even greater flexibility to manage a network from virtually anywhere.

“Our users rely heavily on BrightSign Network, as it allows them to offload much of their digital signage network management,” said Jeff Hastings, CEO of BrightSign. “The Web UI takes that convenience to new heights, making remote content delivery to one or multiple units a breeze.”

BrightSign Network enables users to perform a variety of tasks, such as distribute presentations, manage networked players, monitor the activity and status of displays, perform network administration functions and assign user roles and permissions from a remote location.

The BrightSign Network Web UI gives users access to their BrightSign Network subscription from any internet-connected Mac or PC, from anywhere in the world. Through the Web UI, network administrators can create user accounts, assign roles and set account permissions. Account users can remotely access features based on their assigned roles to perform network monitoring and management, generate playback, event and diagnostic reports, and even author, schedule and publish simple presentations.

While only BrightAuthor provides BrightSign Network users with the complete set of presentation creation features, the BrightSign Network Web UI is a welcome addition for BrightSign users. It is especially relevant to Mac users, as well as customers looking for a very quick and easy way to remotely monitor their networks and view diagnostic reports.
