BRO GRANITE delivered - the eighth vessel in the series The new product tanker BRO GRANITE, 7,600 dwt launched on 14 February this year has now been delivered from the Dutch shipyard Ferus Smit BV. BRO GRANITE completes the series of eighth vessels in a newbuilding programme for the market segment 6,900 - 7,600 dwt. The other seven vessels, which were launched and delivered during the period 1999 to 2003, are BRO GRACE, BRO GLORY, BRO GLOBE, BRO GALAXY, BRO GEMINI, BRO GENIUS and BRO GRATITUDE. The vessels serve under Broström´s portfolio of cargo contracts with oil companies in the North European trade. BRO GRANITE is commercially operated by Broström and the vessel is part of the co-operation between Broström and Erik Thun AB. Each company has a 50 per cent ownership of the vessel.
