Broström continues to focus on Core Business

BROSTRÖM CONTINUES TO FOCUS ON CORE BUSINESS By selling out all interests in Dry Bulk Shipping Broström continues to focus on its core business. The phase-out includes the two vessels THULELAND and COLUMBIALAND, which have been chartered for a long time, and also the 10 per cent share in the vessel NAN AN. The phase-out is planned to be effected at mid-year. As to the result the Dry Bulk Shipping has during the last years been a loss for Broström and the forecast projected for this year for Dry Bulk Shipping, including phase-out costs, will amount to SEK -19 million (for the whole year 1999 the loss was SEK 14 million).
