BROSTRÖM ORDERS ADDITIONAL PRODUCT TANKER IN CO-OPERATION WITH DONSÖTANK Broström extends its 10 year old co-operation with Rederi AB Donsötank and orders jointly an additional product tanker of 18,000 dwt from the Chinese shipyard Edward Shipyard in Shanghai. The vessel which is expected to be delivered in November 2002 will become a sister vessel to PROSPERO that was delivered in September last year from the same shipyard. The vessel will be included in the Broström fleet and commercially managed by Broström whereas Donsötank will do ship management. The two companies will own 50 % each of the vessel. "The vessel will be employed in the North European petroleum product distribution trade and operated by Broström together with the other 16 vessels presently included in this part of our fleet", says Lennart Simonsson, Broström's CEO. "Our experience so far of PROSPERO, which is a technically advanced vessel, is very good and we also have good experience from building vessels in China", says Lars Kristensson of Donsötank.
