BROSTRÖM'S FLEET INCREASED BY THE DELIVERY OF BRO ELIZABETH The new product tanker BRO ELIZABETH, 37,000 dwt, has been delivered from the Croatian shipyard 3 Maj. This is the first in a series of two ordered by Broström. The second vessel is due for delivery in the second quarter of 2002. The BRO ELIZABETH and her sister vessel are being built in accordance with the latest technical and environmental standards and requirements. The vessels, built for carrying petroleum products as well as IMO 2 chemicals, have a shallow draft, tin free antifouling and NOx emission control for main and auxiliary engines. Both vessels will fly the French flag. Broström's French subsidiary Broström Tankers SA is the commercial and operational manager of BRO ELIZABETH and has a 40 % interest in the vessel, the balance being held by external investors. The vessel will mainly be trading in North Western Europe and the Mediterranean markets.
