Broström sells product tanker Bro Stella

Broström has made an agreement for the sale of BRO STELLA, which gives a pre-tax profit of approximately SEK 85 million and a cash surplus of around SEK 215 million.

The Broström strategy is to lead the market in terms of quality, safety and environment and Broström has over the years continuously renewed its fleet and invested in new and modern tonnage, making the Broström fleet a modern diversified product tanker fleet. Broström’s core product tanker segments are within the tonnage size range between 5,000 and 50,000 ton deadweight. BRO STELLA with its 70,000 ton deadweight is the only vessel of this size in the Broström fleet and was therefore sold for strategic reasons. The vessel that was built in 1995 is scheduled to be delivered to the buyer in February 2006.
