Broström sells product tanker BRO TONY

The sale gives a profit of approximately SEK 7 million and a cash surplus of about SEK 5 million. The Broström strategy is to lead the market in terms of quality, safety and the environment and Broström has over the years continuously renewed its fleet and invested in new and modern tonnage, making the Broström fleet one of the world’s most modern and diversified product tanker fleets. Broström has entered into an agreement for the sale of the product tanker BRO TONY with prompt delivery. The vessel has a deadweight of 4,160 and was built in 1982. The sale of the BRO TONY is the final step f Broström’s exit from the small European chemical tanker segment following the sale of three stainless steel chemical tankers in late 2003.
