Broström has made an agreement for the sale of BRO TRAVELLER, which gives a pre-tax profit of about SEK 13 million and a cash surplus of around SEK 50 million.

The Broström strategy is to lead the market in terms of quality, safety and environment and Broström has over the years continuously renewed its fleet and invested in new and modern tonnage, making the Broström fleet a modern diversified product tanker fleet. One of Broström’s core product tanker segments is within the tonnage intermediate size range between 10,000 and 20,000 ton deadweight. These vessels are primarily trading in North European waters distributing refined oil products for the oil industry. As the considerable number of new built vessels gradually is joining the Broström fleet, older tonnages are being phased out. Broström’s intermediate segment presently accommodates a total of 32 vessels with a further 9 vessels to be delivered within the next three years. BRO TRAVELLER (14,320 dwt) was built in 1988 and is scheduled to be delivered to the buyer in September 2006.
