Broström takes delivery of BRO AGNES

The 17,000 dwt product IMO II Chemical and Oil Product tanker BRO AGNES has been delivered from the Yardimci Gemi shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey. The vessel is the second of three Broström vessels in a series of six being built in partnership with Dünya Shipping of Istanbul, Turkey.

All six vessels are built at ice class 1A and will be commercially operated by Broström and join the total fleet of about 55 vessels presently being operated in Europe for the transportation of refined petroleum products. Three of the vessels (GAN-OCEAN, GAN-SWORD and BRO ANNA) have been delivered during the past six months whereas the remaining two (BRO ALMA and GAN-SKY) are expected to be delivered in June and during the fourth quarter this year.

Broström’s vessels BRO ANNA and BRO AGNES are owned by a Dutch subsidiary, manned and technically operated from the Netherlands and are flying the Dutch flag.
