BROSTRÖM TAKES DELIVERY OF NEW PRODUCT TANKER FROM CHINA In April 2001 Broström together with its partner Donsötank jointly placed an order to build an additional 18,000 dwt product tanker at the Chinese shipyard Edward in Shanghai. The vessel named BRO SINCERO has now been delivered from the shipyard and has commenced her maiden voyage to Europe. Upon her arrival the vessel will join the Broström fleet where she will be employed in the North European petroleum product distribution trade serving Broström's portfolio of cargo contracts. The BRO SINCERO is owned by Broström and Donsötank on a 50/50 basis and is a sister vessel to PROSPERO that was delivered from the same shipyard in 2000. Both vessels are crewed and technically managed by Donsötank whereas Broström has the commercial management. By the delivery of BRO SINCERO the Broström fleet is being further modernised with an average age of 6 years compared to the world fleet average (< 80,000 dwt) of 15 years.
