BROSTRÖMS RESEBYRÅ ACQUIRES PEREGRE BROSTRÖMS RESEBYRÅ ACQUIRES PEREGRE Broströms Resebyrå (Broström Travel Agency) further strengthens its position in the business travel market in West Sweden by acquiring the travel agency Peregre. The acquisition is an additional step in the consolidation of the Swedish business travel market which Broströms Resebyrå commenced a few years ago by the acquisition of Travel Plan. Thereafter Broströms Resebyrå entered into a strategic co-operation with the Norwegian VIA Gruppen with the mission to develop a competitive franchise concept in the Swedish business travel market. The latest acquisition is in line with Broströms Resebyrå's long-term strategy to gradually improve its market positions and achieve scale of economy through growth. The acquisition of Peregre also includes Thulit and Eskilstuna Affärsresebyrå. Thulit's speciality is incoming agency for visitors to Göteborg based on a long co-operation with the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. Thulit adds a new business segment to Broströms Resebyrå with a potential for growth. Eskilstuna Affärsresebyrå is a small local business travel agency with a potential for growth within the alliance with the VIA Gruppen in a particular geographical part of Sweden. Peregre has a total net sales of SEK 100 million and after the acquisition the Broströms Resebyrå will have a total net sales of SEK 375 million generated by the offices in Göteborg and one in Eskilstuna. The total number of employees will be 60.
