BROSTRÖMS RESEBYRÅ ACQUIRES TRAVEL PLAN BROSTRÖMS RESEBYRÅ ACQUIRES TRAVEL PLAN Broströms Resebyrå (Broström's Travel Agency) further strengthens its position in the business travel market in West Sweden. "The purchase of the business travel agency Travel Plan is in line with our long-term strategy to be one of the leading business travel agencies in the Göteborg region. Our business concept is to offer competent and qualitative travel guidance to the benefit of our customers with emphasis on personal service and know-how", says Peter Skoglund, Managing Director of Broströms Resebyrå. "Furthermore, we expect to realise synergies in overhead as well as in procurement." All partners and staff will continue to work in their office on the Aveny located in downtown Göteborg. "We are looking forward to belonging to a bigger organisation", says Magnus Carlén of Travel Plan. "This will be a new and exiting challenge." Travel Plan has a turnover of SEK 55 million and by this acquisition Broströms Resebyrå's business volume will be SEK 275 million. The total number of employees will thereafter be about 40 persons. Broströms Resebyrå is a company within the Broström Group and a part of the business area Marine & Logistics Services with a number of business activities relating to shipping and logistics which together represent a strategic complement to Broström's other activities.
