FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., October 4, 2012 Brownie’s Marine Group, Inc. (OTCBB: BWMG), a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of highly specialized dive and safety products, is exhibiting at the United States Sailboat Show in its 43rd year, which opens up today. Located at the waterfront of historic Annapolis, Maryland, the same Chesapeake Bay town that is also home of the U.S. Naval Academy, the show attracts more than 50,000 boating enthusiasts and is recognized worldwide as the premier sailing showcase.

Brownie’s Marine Group is exhibiting its product line that is particularly well suited for boats and boating activities. One of these key products is the industry leading Variable Speed (VS) Third Lung diving system. This innovative product, which has been significantly enhanced on a technological basis a number of times, weighs less than ten pounds. The dive system is a fully battery powered hookah diving system where air is supplied to the divers below from the surface. Hookah diving is a great system for the entire family and eliminates the need for cumbersome and heavy scuba tanks that not only often intimidate the new diver, but also require filling and thus the need for compressor and also takes up considerable space on the boats.

The VS Third Lung is also uniquely well suited for carrying out maintenance of the boat below the water surface and is ideal for that in water cleaning of the hull and getting stuck filaments out of the propeller. Additionally since the VS Third Lung is an electrical version diving system with real diving capacity, the boater eliminates the need for gasoline onboard for these purposes – something that especially most sailing boat owners can appreciate.

Robert Carmichael, CEO of Brownie’s Marine Group stated “This is our third year of attendance and we are excited and looking forward to the opportunity to showcase our products. We have done very well at this show historically and are confident this year will also be a highly successful show for the company. We believe Brownie’s has significant growth potential and are proud of the reputation that we have earned in the marine industry for providing cutting-edge and innovative products. The marine industry is in the process of a re-birth.  This show is an excellent venue to introduce our products to new boating enthusiasts and to quality distributors throughout the country.”

Brownie’s Marine Group can be found at the boat show at the West Marine booth.
