A BREATH OF FRESH AIR FOR RESIDENTS AT ELMRIDGE

Thursday, 11 June 2009 Residents at Bupa’s Elmridge Nursing Home, Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough will enjoy three days of activities through NAPA, the National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People. ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’ challenge is being held for NAPA members between June 15 and 21. The challenge offers all residents a chance to get some fresh air and enjoy a range of activities at some point during the week. Events taking place include a police horse demonstration at Ormesby Hall at 2pm on 16 June, a demonstration of cycles for the disabled by leisure equipment company, Quest 88, an all ability cycling group at 12.45pm on Wednesday 17 June at Elmridge Nursing Home car park. There will also be a trip to Coulby Newham leisure farm at 2pm on Friday 19 June. Anyone wishing to see the cycles being demonstrated on Wednesday 17 June are welcome to come along, there will also be live entertainment provided from 2.30pm. Helen Saunders, Home Manager at Bupa’s Elmridge says: “Everyone involved is really looking forward to the whole week.
