ALICE CELEBRATES A CENTURY!

Alice Eva Jarvis, a resident of Bupa’s Brandon Park Residential and Nursing Home, Brandon, Suffolk, is looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday on Friday 16 July. The home will be celebrating with a party for residents and relatives at 2.30pm. A performance from Music in Hospitals will follow at 3pm, with guests serenaded by Jon Betmead, a singer and guitarist. Alice was born in 1910 in Kent. She later relocated to Norfolk, before settling in Brandon, Suffolk. Alice enjoyed driving holidays around the country and had an amazing talent for drawing and painting. She was also very skilled in needlework and has always enjoyed creating embroidered pictures. Lisa Elmy, home manager at Bupa’s Brandon Park Residential and Nursing Home, says: “We are delighted to share this special occasion with Alice. She is really looking forward to reaching this landmark and we hope it will be a really special day for her to spend with her friends.”
