Residents and staff at Bupa’s Ancaster Court Nursing Home, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, warmly invite members of the local community to their Christmas Fair, on Friday 27 November, 1.30pm to 3.30pm. The home will be holding a number of stalls including those selling books and Christmas cards. Local shops from the area have been invited to sell items and there will be a tombola. All money raised will be donated to the Sussex Autistic Community Trust. The home is inviting relatives, friends and the community to come and join in the fun, support the home and meet Father Christmas. The fair provides an excellent opportunity to pick up some early Christmas presents. The event will be a double celebration as the home has recently celebrated being awarded a ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the care and service it gives its residents. Alison Sowerby, home manager at Bupa’s Ancaster Court Nursing Home, says: “Everyone is really looking forward to this event and it will give everyone a chance to get into the Christmas spirit. We have some really nice gifts available and we look forward to welcoming the local community into the home.”
