BBC PRESENTER JOINS IN THE FUN WITH CARE HOME RESIDENTS

Look North television presenter, Peter Levy, will be joining the staff, residents and friends of Bupa’s Saltshouse Haven Residential and Nursing Home on Saturday 25 July, 1pm, for their annual summer fete. Visitors to the home will be able to browse a number of stalls including those selling plants, bric-a-brac, cakes, books and jumble. They’ll also be the opportunity to have a go at the tombola, a raffle, a lucky dip, as well as having your car wash. Entertainment will be provided by Hullywood, a celebrity impersonator company. Chrissy Fisher, activity co-ordinator, says: “Members of the local community are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the afternoon with us. All of our residents are looking forward to meeting Peter and having some fun.”
