BUPA CARE HOME HOSTS SUMMER FETE

Staff and residents at Bupa’s Fieldway Nursing and Residential Centre, Mitcham, Surrey, are looking forward to hosting their summer fete on Saturday 14 August from 11.00am. Monies raised will be donated to the British Heart Foundation to support the vital research they undertake and to help save lives and fight the UK’s biggest killer. Attractions on the day will include Asian dancers, the London Fire Brigade, musical entertainment, fundraising activities and stalls, a raffle and an auction. Guests are invited to bid for a host of prizes including family days out, a diamond pendant and a signed Manchester City football. A variety of snacks and refreshments will also be served. Isabella Mackenzie, home manager of Bupa’s Fieldway Nursing and Residential Centre, said: “We decided as a team at the beginning of the year to support the British Heart Foundation’s vital work, and this is one of many events we are holding throughout the year.” Jackie Skeel, head of national campaigns at the British Heart Foundation, said: “The money raised by Bupa’s Fieldway Nursing and Residential Centre will help save lives and fight the UK’s biggest killer.
