Wednesday, 24 June 2009 A team from Bupa Care Services’ Finance department based in Horsforth, Leeds took part in a community challenge and spent the day re-painting Airedale Scout Hut in Yeadon, Leeds on Friday 19 June. The team chose to re-decorate the scout hut in order to brighten it up so that the scouts have a nice meeting place. Volunteers for the challenge included Kathryn Leeming, Shazana Khan, Kay Fletcher, Martin Bacon, Clare Northfield, Tim Howard, Richard Turner, Rachel Morley and Viv Stephenson. Kay Fletcher, Accounts Payable Team Member says; “Our team really enjoyed the challenge, we think that the scout hut was a really worthwhile cause as they rely solely on funding and donations. By making the scout hut more pleasant it will be more inviting for children to go to scouts and learn vital life skills.”
