BUPA’s COLLINGWOOD COURT WELCOMES NEW HOME MANAGER

Bupa Care Homes is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Veronica Lee as home manager of Collingwood Court Nursing Centre. Veronica has worked in the healthcare sector for nearly 25 years. She trained in South Africa as a registered nurse and then undertook graduate studies in midwifery and psychiatry. In 1996 Veronica began working in the field of gerontology which studies the social, psychological and biological aspects of aging. Kerry John, regional manager for Bupa’s Collingwood Court, commented on Veronica’s appointment: “We are absolutely delighted to appoint Veronica as home manager. She has extensive experience in nursing and will no doubt have a real impact at the home. I wish her all the best in her new role.” Veronica said of her appointment: “It is a real pleasure to take on this role and I look forward to getting to know all the residents, staff and relatives at Collingwood Court.” Collingwood Court is a modern, purpose-built care home carefully designed and equipped to provide nursing care for older residents and people with dementia. All bedrooms are en-suite and are attractively decorated. The home has three lounges where residents can relax, socialise or entertain guests. The home has an attractive garden and patio area, which is the perfect place to sit and take in the summer sunshine.
