BUPA’s THE BURNHAM WELCOMES NEW HOME MANAGER

Wednesday, 01 July 2009 Bupa Care Homes is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Vivienne Withers as home manager of The Burnham Nursing and Residential Centre. Vivienne brings with her many years’ experience of care home management, and has been a manager with Bupa for two years and prior to that she was the manager at three other care homes in Bristol and North Somerset. Veronica Marsh, regional manager, commented on Vivienne’s appointment: “We are absolutely delighted to appoint Vivienne as home manager. She has extensive experience in management and will no doubt have a real impact at the home. I wish her all the best in her new role.” Vivienne Withers said of her appointment: “It is a real pleasure to take on this role and I look forward to getting to know all the residents, staff and relatives at The Burnham.” The Burnham enjoys its seaside location in Burnham-on-Sea. The home offers nursing, residential and nursing dementia care to elderly residents. Originally a church and convent, the home has been carefully converted to create a pleasant, well equipped home for its residents. The bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard, with en-suite facilities. The home has large landscaped grounds that feature seasonal flowers, a patio area, a pond and a fountain. ENDS
