COTTINGLEY HALL SUMMER FAYRE

Residents at Bupa’s Cottingley Hall Nursing Home, Bingley, West Yorkshire, are looking forward to their summer fayre which is being held on Wednesday 11 August from 1pm to 4pm. Attractions on the day will include hook-a-duck and a tombola. Exotic animals including a 14 foot python from Morley Exotic Animal Rescue and a donkey from the local sanctuary will be in the grounds for visitors to view. Entertainment will be provided by New Orleans Jazz Band and visitors will have the chance to sample ice-cream and cream teas. Entry to the event is free and all monies raised will be donated to Morley Exotic Animal Rescue and Sarnelli House orphanage in Thailand. Members of the community are warmly invited to come along on the day and join the fun! Catherine Briggs, home manager at Bupa’s Cottingley Hall Nursing Home says; “This is a lovely event for all of the residents, relatives and local community to come and support the home and have a wonderful fun day out. It is our biggest event to date, fingers crossed the sun shines for us.”
