DOVE COURT SHARE A CUPPA WITH LISA RILEY

Residents and staff at Bupa’s Dove Court Nursing and Residential Home, Burnley, Lancashire, will be welcoming a resident of the celebrity variety into their home to share afternoon tea on Thursday 21 October at 2pm. Former ‘Emmerdale’ actress and local girl Lisa Riley will be chatting with residents over a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Lisa is best known as larger than life character Mandy Dingle in the Yorkshire soap ‘Emmerdale’, and first appeared in the show in 1995. She has since gone on to present ‘You’ve been Framed’ and starred in numerous other television programmes including ‘Fat Friends’, ‘The Bill’ and ‘Holby City’. Ellen Pepper, home manager at Bupa’s Dove Court Nursing and Residential Home said: “We are really looking forward to Lisa coming to the home. The residents know her best as Mandy Dingle from ‘Emmerdale’ and they are really excited to see her. You can’t beat a good cuppa and a chat and I am sure the residents will have all sorts of questions for her.
