GOLDSBOROUGH ESTATES APPOINTS COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Annette Elliott has been appointed as Commercial Manager for Goldsborough Estates, the specialist retirement leasehold management arm of Bupa, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Goldsborough Estates, which is part of the Bupa Group, specialises in the management of private retirement and assisted living properties and has 50 purpose built developments in England and Wales. This key appointment reinforces Goldsborough Estate’s commitment to providing professional and high quality management services across its portfolio of retirement developments throughout the UK. Annette who was previously Business Development Manager for City Loft Development plc and Accent Property Solutions, will focus on existing customers as well as increasing the company’s portfolio, with particular attention being paid to housebuilders who may be considering developing retirement properties for the first time. Annette said of her appointment: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to work for such a forward thinking company and I am looking forward to developing my skills within Goldsborough. As well as focusing on services to existing customers, one of my main objectives will be increasing the customer portfolio. The need for long term independent living, the non reliance of those aged over 55 on mortgage funds and the higher expectations of the newly retired suggest that more housebuilders will be looking at this sector of the market.
