GREENFINGERED RELATIVES THANK CARE HOME FOR LOOKING AFTER THEIR LOVED ONES

Bupa’s Knowles Court Residential and Nursing Home, Bridgeway, Bradford, will be celebrating the official opening of a new ‘garden of love’ on Wednesday 22 July at 2pm. The garden has been created by the relatives of past and present residents of Knowles Court as a thank you to the home for the care given to their loved ones. Features include a patio seating area, a pergola with climbing plants and a bamboo roof to provide the residents with permanent shade, a water feature, roses and daisies and bird boxes. Morris Harland, chairman of the home’s residents and relatives’ committee, will lead the proceedings and Canon Gordon Dey will bless the garden. This will be followed by afternoon tea and entertainment from entertainer Doc Martin. There will also be a tobola and bric-a-brac stall at the event.
