HILDA CELEBRATES A CENTURY!

Mrs Hilda Carr, a resident of Bupa’s Ridgeway Lodge Residential Home, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, is looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday on Thursday 2 September. The home will be celebrating with a party for family members, friends and relatives at 3pm. Hilda was born in 1910 and she had two brothers. As a child she attended Norton Road Primary School and enjoyed playing tennis. Hilda enjoyed holidaying at the seaside and has fond memories of her trip to Switzerland. Hilda loved keeping dogs and has previously raised Jack Russell’s and Labradors. Hilda enjoys listening to classical music and reading magazines. Peter Hodges, home manager at Bupa’s Ridgeway Lodge Residential Home, says: “We are delighted to share this special occasion with Hilda. She is really looking forward to reaching the 100 landmark and we hope it will be a really special day for her to spend with her friends and family.”
