LOCAL CARE HOME HOLDS SUMMER BAZAAR

Residents and staff of Bupa’s The Burnham Nursing and Residential Centre, Oxford Street, Burnham-on- Sea, are looking forward to their annual summer fete on Saturday 1 August, 10am to 12.30pm. Attractions on the day will include stalls selling cakes, books, bric-a-brac and bottles. A raffle and a ‘prize every time’ game will also be held. Cream teas and soft drinks will be served. Yvonne Saunders, activitiy co-ordinator at Bupa’s The Burnham Nursing and Residential Centre, says: “Our summer bazaar gives us the chance to invite the local community into our care home and have an afternoon of fun and companionship.”
