Bupa’s Hadley Lawns Residential and Nursing Home in Barnet has launched a new ‘Pop in’ service, allowing local community members to use the home’s facilities for as little as an hour. The service is intended to provide flexible short-term care, with the same emphasis on person centred care that is provided to full time residents. The services available include bathing, the provision of healthy and nutritious meals, and a wide variety of activities whether as part of a group or on an individual basis. Maggie Ireland, home manager at Hadley Lawns Residential and Nursing Home said: “We understand how important it is for caregivers to have access to short respite care. Our new service enables local people to ensure their loved ones are being well loved after while they take the opportunity to have a break and even get day to day tasks completed like the weekly shopping. “Everybody’s needs and likes are different, and we believe in getting to know everyone individually. This way, when someone chooses day care at Hadley Lawns, they can look forward to a break that is tailored around them”. With registered nurses always on hand, and attentive care staff with vast experience, day care visitors to Hadley Lawns can expect a warm welcome and the highest standards of comfort and care.
